We will begin the year with an introduction and information session, at the Canberra Irish Club, 6 Parkinson St, Weston, ACT. It will be in the outdoors area, behind the Bistro, from 4pm on Saturday 5th February. It’s the same spot where we had the Christmas party. Note that the meeting place is outdoors to minimise COVID concerns.
2022 Class timings:
Level 1: On Saturdays, from 11:30 am to 1:00pm. Commencing on February 12th.
Level 2: On Tuesdays, from 6:00 pm to 7:30pm. Commencing on February 8th.
Level 3: On Tuesdays, from 7:300 pm to 9:00pm. Commencing on February 8th.
Please also note that when classes commence for this year they will initially be conducted via Zoom. We currently expect the Zoom classes to continue for about six weeks, after which time we hope to resume our usual face to face classes in the Weston Room at the Irish Club. However the situation will be reviewed regularly.
The CILA Committee appreciates that not everyone will be happy with our shift back to Zoom classes, however all current CILA members were sent a survey to enable us to ascertain members’ disposition, given the current COVID conditions.
