FÁILTE CHUIG AN SUÍOMH GRÉASÁIN LE HAGHAIDH AN CUMANN GAEILGE CANBERRA
The Canberra Irish Language Association was established in 2015. The association seeks to promote Irish language and culture in the Australian Community. The association also aims to hold Irish language classes and schools in order to see this goal fulfilled.
What we do:
CILA is a small not for profit association based in Canberra that works with community groups across the ACT region and interstate to help promote and improve the learning of Irish language in Australia. Our aim is to spread awareness of the Irish culture and language and encourage people to develop an interest in the language.
Primarily, we offer Irish language classes and support new or individual learners. We have also host immersive day courses throughout the year and weekend long events as needed. Follow us on Facebook or join our mailing list for the most up-to-date CILA news.
