It’s time again to celebrate Oiche Shamhna/Samhain or Halloween and a great opportunity for people of all ages to participate in the cultural traditions of Ireland. This is the fifth year Comhaltas Canberra is getting together with the local Irish community to host a Junior event at Canberra Irish Club.
There will be dress ups, games, activities, lunch for the wee ones and tea and Barmbrack for the adults accompanying them. This will be followed by the regular Last Sunday of the month Traditional Music and Song session – and a chance to see Strathmannan (featured in the club Summer Sessions on the deck).
