NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

CANBERRA IRISH LANGUAGE ASSOCIATION
The Annual General Meeting of the Canberra Irish Language Association (CILA) will be held on Saturday 6 December 2025 at 3.00pm in the Canberra Irish Club, 6 Parkinson Street, Weston. All CILA members are invited to attend.
The present members are Anne Selvidge (Chair), Áine Barker (Secretary), Paul Collins (Treasurer), Mark Peirce and Carmel Brennan (ordinary members).
Anyone interested in joining the committee is encouraged to nominate for the committee using the attached form.
This AGM will also consider updates to the Association Rules (highlighted in blue) and a new code of conduct (See documents at end).
If you are unable to attend in person, but would like to nominate a proxy vote, please use the Proxy Vote form. Proxy votes can be delegated to either an in-person attendee or the Chair.
Completed forms need to be with the Secretary, Áine Barker, (ainebarker@gmail.com) at least 7 days before the AGM i.e. by Saturday 8 November. Forms for proxy voting are also available on request.
Minutes of the last AGM, the audited financial statement and reports on the activities of the Association, will be available at the AGM.
