COVID-19 presented some real challenges this year for our Irish classes and events. We’re proud of how well we’ve managed to adapt to online learning and socially distanced comhra sessions.
At the moment, we are looking to resume face-to-face classes in 2021, in addition to continuing with our online platform. Arrangements for the new years classes are currently being made and we ask that you are patient with us as we work with the Irish Club and the ACT government to provide you with the best and safest learning environment.
Covid-permitting, there will be beginners, intermediate, and advanced classes in Irish during 2021. An Information Evening for new and continuing students will be held at the Canberra Irish Club (8 Parkinson Street, Weston), at 6.30pm on Tuesday 9 February; attendance is highly recommended.
